In addition to all of our feeders and gutloads, we here at Canadian Feeders know what it takes to keep and transport feeders and supplies. As such we have many items that could be useful to people wishing to keep, grow, or send feeders and other items. Just another thing we here at Canadian Feeders provide to our valued customers.

Culture Containers
29mL, 235mL, 470mL, and 940mL culturing containers with lids are available. The containers are perfect for culturing fruit flies, microworms, vinegar eels and more. These are the same containers we use to ship all of our insects in, and made from a light weight translucent plastic that is microwave friendly.

30, 40, 60 or 72 Hour Heat Packs
A high quality heating pack guaranteed to last at least 40 or 72 hours when used properly. We use this to ship all of our temperature sensitive feeders, and it has also been used to send reptiles, amphibians, plants, medical supplies, donor organs, and much more. Do not place the heat pack in direct contact with any animals being shipped as its temperatures are too extreme. Instead, tape the heat pack to the top inside of the box before sealing to help keep the air temperature inside the box warm.

Worried about a power outage during the winter? Pick up a few heat packs to keep on hand in case of an emergency. Place them inside a towel inside a plastic container and put it into your animal's tank to supply them with enough heat to make it through the down time. Such a small price for a little piece of mind, and they have a shelf life of three years.

Travelling during the winter? Keep a few in your glove box. Great in case of an emergency! Store used heat packs in a ziplock bag to stop the heating process and remove when needed again!

Average Temperature: 21C (70F) for 30 hour heat packs
42C (108F) for 40 hour heat packs

Maximum Temperature: 43C (110F) for 30 hour heat packs
